USPS Shipping Delays

Posted by D. on 22nd Dec 2020

Due to increased volume of packages during the holiday season coinciding with the limiting of staff due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the United States Postal Service is currently experiencing country-wide delays that are affecting many of the packages that have been shipped out in the past couple of weeks, specially those that went out via Priority Mail and First Class Mail. These delays were unforeseen and well beyond our control, and we do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and your work.

Going forward, we recommend all orders that are urgent and need to be delivered in a timely manner go through UPS until further notice. If you place an order and select USPS Priority Mail as your selected method, please be aware that your package may not be delivered for another 1-2 weeks or longer, given this current state of the Postal Service.

Despite these delays, any orders that are placed and are selected to ship via USPS are guaranteed go out within (1) business day if the order is placed after 11 AM, barring holiday hours or weekends.; USPS orders that are placed prior to 11 AM should be shipped out on the same business day.

We always update your order with the tracking information once they are completed, but if you do not receive these updates through the e-mail you chose to use at the time of your checkout, do not hesitate to contact us in regards to the status of your package.

We appreciate your ongoing business.

Happy Holidays,

Melrose Technologies
